High-quality Japanese-made, replacement unfinished Telecaster body made from 2 piece north American Alder with a centre join. This is a true custom shop quality “tonewood” guitar body and is ideal for anyone wishing to build themselves a high-end guitar.
This body is routed for the traditional 2 singlecoil Tele pickups and also has the bridge mounting holes and through-body string holes to match most vintage-style ashtray bridges. The four holes for securing the neck to the guitar body are drilled but all other holes such as the ones for pickguard and strap buttons will need to be drilled.
If you are unsure about fitting the various guitar parts to this Tele body, particularly the neck and bridge, then we recommend getting a local qualified guitar luthier to carry the work out for you to ensure that all parts are aligned correctly.
