The Tanglewood Tiare TWT 10 is surely one of the most visually attractive and unique instruments in the whole range.
A concert size instrument in high gloss finish, this ukulele has timbers crafted from exotic Spalt Maple. This timber has been retrieved from mountain lakes and creeks, where for generations it has laid submerged in water and gradually taken on a unique grain identity, noticeable by the striking ebony marks on the otherwise pale maple timber.
The TWT 10 has the Tiare trademark “Fiddleback” contouring on the rear of the body for increased sound projection and enhanced tonality and is fitted as standard with the class leading Aquila strings from Italy.
If you want a concert ukulele which quite possibly began its life as a Maple tree over three hundred years ago and has been weathered and aged by natural elements into the work of art cosmetic you see on our images, then this is the instrument for you.
