This cloth is specifically designed for lacquered instruments. It is impregnated with cleaning agents to make your instrument look shiny and new after every clean. Leaving dirt and perspiration on lacquer will gradually remove the lacquer over time so a quick wipe down with this before packing away will keep your instrument in great condition.
