Vintage Modified Bass VI six-string bass has the feel of a baritone guitar without the extended neck. The strings aren’t extra thick so it’s a great transition from guitar. The original model of 1961-1975 has provided distinctively voiced low end for everyone from the Beatles to the Black Keys, however this pickguard template will only fit the modern Squier by Fender Vintage Modified Bass VI. This template has also been confirmed to fit the Classic Vibe model of Squier Bass VI. A tortoiseshell pickguard on the sunburst model and three-ply white-black-white on the black model are the only available factory-fitted pickguards… until now. Our replacement pickguards offer a large selection of colours and designs.

This pickguard is made from red mirror – a clear acrylic material measuring .118″ / 2.99mm thick with a 45 degree bevelled edge. The red reflective layer is attached to the underside of the acrylic, preventing it from getting scratched or dented once it is fitted to the instrument.
