Vintage Modified Bass VI six-string bass has the feel of a baritone guitar without the extended neck. The strings aren’t extra thick so it’s a great transition from guitar. The original model of 1961-1975 has provided distinctively voiced low end for everyone from the Beatles to the Black Keys, however this pickguard template will only fit the modern Squier by Fender Vintage Modified Bass VI. This template has also been confirmed to fit the Classic Vibe model of Squier Bass VI. A tortoiseshell pickguard on the sunburst model and three-ply white-black-white on the black model are the only available factory-fitted pickguards… until now. Our replacement pickguards offer a large selection of colours and designs. Light brown tortoiseshell (with a hint more red to the overall colour compared to the dark brown tortoiseshell that we sell) celluloid top layer with a PVC White / Black / White laminate underneath. Comes with a peel-off clear protective film attached to top side to protect the surface during cutting and installation. We are unable to accept returns if this clear film has been removed.
