The modern Pure Tone jack contains dual tension grounds and dual positive tips to create a belt-and braces-style connection which provides optimal signal and the lowest possible noise. With double the surface area on all contact points the connection is completely stable and results in greatly improved high and low frequency transfer without any spikes, crackle and pop!
