Description

Hosco high-quality pre-cut fretwire, pack of 24 frets suitable for one instrument. Each fret of the precut Phosphor Bronze fretwire is cut based on a standard fretboard (43mm at nut / 53mm at 12th fret) and has an extra length by 0.5mm.

So, why use Phosphor Bronze material for fret wire?

It has higher wear resistance than regular nickel silver fret wire and yet is not as hard as stainless steel. Its hardness, HV250-290, is harder than nickel silver, yet a little softer than stainless steel.

Just like stainless steel, phosphor bronze is very rust-resistant.

They provide a warmer tone compared to nickel silver fret wire.

Unique “rose gold” colour that provides an elegant finish for any guitar fretboard, especially for acoustic guitars.

It’s nickel free – nickel is one of the most common causes of skin irritations and so phosphor bronze frets are more gentle on the skin.
