Palmer – PEABO Balanced Line Output Switch
The Palmer PEABO is a Balanced Line Output Switch featuring one input and two outputs, making it an ideal choice for directing a signal to one of two possible inputs.
Toggle your vocal microphone between the FOH and monitor mixing desks to communicate with either the monitor mixer or the band on stage.
It offers two distinct sound configurations, allowing you to switch between different microphone effects or sounds, such as a “telephone effect” or varying levels of reverb. Connect the PEABO’s outputs to two separate mixing desk channels, each set up differently, and switch between them freely while on stage.
The PEABO can also be used to direct the signal to two different rooms or zones, with the option to select either one.
A robust footswitch controls the switching, and a red LED indicates the chosen output. Slide switches provide 15 dB of attenuation for output A and a choice of 6, 15, or 21 dB for output B. A ground lift switch is included to prevent earth loop hum. The PEABO is encased in a durable metal chassis with extended edges to protect the inputs and outputs. It also has pre-drilled holes for easy and secure rack or pedalboard mounting.
The PEABO operates on an all-passive circuitry, requiring a 9V block battery solely to power the LED indicator.
