Please note that this pickguard will only fit a genuine original Gibson Melody Maker from 1965. We do also have a template for the 1959 – 1961 version, please contact us for more details. No reissue template is available at this time for this instrument.
This pickguard is made from gold mirror – a clear acrylic material measuring .118″ / 2.99mm thick with a 45 degree bevelled edge. The gold reflective layer is attached to the underside of the acrylic, preventing it from getting scratched or dented once it is fitted to the instrument.
