Description
This replacement pickguard is made specifically for the Fender Mark Hoppus Jazz Bass. This model features a reversed Seymour Duncan Basslines SPB-3 Quarter Pound split-coil Precision Bass pickup, single chrome control knob (volume). As standard this model comes with a four-ply white pearloid on the Surf Green model and a four-ply tortoise shell on White Blonde model. Our replacement pickguards allow for a lot of extra pickguard colour variations to enable you to personalise your own instrument. There are two variations of the Mark Hoppus pickguard available via the drop-down menu – the guard that is pictured which is the 2002 to 2010 model or the 2011 to current model that has a reversed P Bass-style split pickup and a trussrod notch cut out in the neck pocket (not pictured).
This pickguard is made from green mirror – a clear acrylic material measuring .118″ / 2.99mm thick with a 45 degree bevelled edge. The green reflective layer is attached to the underside of the acrylic, preventing it from getting scratched or dented once it is fitted to the instrument.
