Jackson Audio Modern Fuzz Deluxe – Fuzz Module
Like the MODERN FUZZ plug-in, the MODERN FUZZ DELUXE plug-in expands the tones available in this plug-in by adding two additional types of clipping. With the jumper set in the DIST (distortion) position, the clipping is smoother and with more headroom. With the jumper set in the OD (overdrive) position, the clipping is smoother still and has the feel and vibe of a vintage overdrive.
To install the FUZZ MODULE, please perform the following steps:
Remove the back panel of the pedal using a Phillips screwdriver
Lift up on the sides of the plug-in that is currently installed until the plug-in lifts up
and out.
Take the new plug-in and align the pins of the three headers into the header sockets
and gently press into position. NOTE: The plug-in is keyed so that it cannot be
installed backward.
Reinstall the back panel of the pedal.
Melt faces.
