Gibson Moderne – Brushed Silver (Simulated)

Description

Designed under the Modernist Series, prototypes of which were shown at the 1957 NAMM show, the Moderne was originally intended to be the sibling of the Flying V and Explorer but never made it off of the launch pad. This pickguard will fit Gibson’s “New” Moderne of which captures the look, feel and sound of the original, and puts it in the hands of players today. These new versions feature either black or tortoiseshell pickguards only from the Gibson factory – our replacement pickguard template offers many extra colour variations to select from. Made from black plastic with a very thin layer of simulated brushed silver on top.
