Fret End Bevelling File

This tool has a unique design devised by the Luthiers at Crimson Guitars, safely and accurately files the fret ends to the required angle.

A guitars’ fret ends need to be bevelled at a 35-degree angle and then rounded over to make for the most comfortable neck possible.

The smooth wood runs along the top of your frets and does no damage there while the file works on both sides, doing away with the need to change the position of the neck on your workbench. The file is also carefully ground with safe edges so that even if you slip it is unlikely to damage your guitar and fits well above the top on most fixed neck instruments.
