The EMG JR set in black with long shaft pots is a signature active humbucker pickup set designed in collaboration with Jim Root of Slipknot and Stone Sour. This set includes the JR-N neck pickup, featuring ceramic poles for a clean, high-end percussive tone, and the JR-B bridge pickup, which uses steel poles and a ceramic magnet for a tight attack and cleaner low end. The custom Retro Active preamps exclusive to this set provide the benefits of active pickups with the dynamic response of passive designs. The long shaft pots ensure compatibility with a variety of guitar models, making installation quick and effortless.
