The EMG 35CSX is a powerful and modern humbucker designed for bass players who want to control higher frequencies while maintaining a warm and punchy sound. This pickup features two coils loaded with ceramic and steel magnets, providing a smooth top end and plenty of output. The X series preamp enhances the dynamic range and headroom, ensuring a traditional string-to-string balance. Additionally, the EMG 35CSX includes an Active Tone Control (VLPF) that attenuates high frequencies, similar to a passive tone control, resulting in a noiseless pickup with a classic EMG sound that bridges the gap between active and passive pickups. The pickup comes with EMG’s solderless wiring for easy installation and fits an extended housing of 3.5 inches (89mm)
