Description
For many years we have offered the complete archtop bridge unit with either the compensated wooden bridge piece () or adjustable metal tune-o-matic bridge () along with the base that sits up against the body of the instrument. Every time we receive an order for the tune-o-matic version, we remove the wooden compensated top piece and replace with a Gotoh tune-o-matic. It’s therefore inevitable after several years that we would have accumulated an extra stock of just the compensated top sections without bases. Therefore, for anyone that needs to replace just the compensated bridge section – here it is!
There are two options available – one has the two mouting holes drilled halfway through the underside meaning that they don’t show through on the top. The other style has the mouting holes drilled right though allowing the mounting posts to protrude through the top of the bridge piece if required.
Both types have a 16″ (406mm) radius and are compensated for each string. Mounting holes are 4mm in diameter. 74mm centre to center of two mounting posts.
