Description
Peter Cornelius composed the Christmas Songs, Op. 8 (for low voice) in 1856 in Thuringia. The first edition did not appear until fourteen years later, however, by which time Cornelius had rewritten the second and third songs. The present edition includes the first version of the two songs in the appendix.
