Description
Gotoh contemporary tremolo bridge unit with block steel saddles with a solid steel block. Two post pivot fulcrum mounting. Allen keys, springs, spring claw with screws, arm, mounting posts and inserts are all included. Resilient chromium molybdenum steel base plate and high-grade heat treatment with Gotoh’s precision machining all equal up to one of the highest quality tremolo units on the market today.
Please note – this Gotoh tremolo bridge will retrofit a Fender American Standard Strat with a bit of modification. A small amount of finish and wood needs to be filed off the treble side of the tremolo body route to make way for the round vibrato arm mount that sits under the bridge plate. A small rasp file can be used for this, it takes about 5 minutes and does not show once the bridge has been installed.
Also, the included Gotoh posts have a different thread to the body inserts that are fitted as standard onto a USA Fender Strat. Therefore the existing inserts will need to be removed from the body to be able to fit the replacement Gotoh posts and inserts.
