About

Some instruments have cavity shielding paint that manufacturers attach then a connection terminal/lug to, which is then soldered to a point of ground on the harness. They can also sometimes be found on instruments like the Fender Jaguar, where a ground wire attaches to the switch panel for example. These little lugs can sometimes be awkward to source, particularly individually or in smaller quantities, so I figured I’d get a bag in to help out with this! You can purchase it as just the lug, for you to use as you please, or if it helps further I also offer it as a pre-soldered solution with 2ft of Gavitt 22awg ground wire attached to the lug, ready for you to install as required. If you need a longer length of pre-soldered wire, just get in touch to organise.

I do now supply these with a small self tapping screw in case that helps, or of course you can re-use any originals you may have. So lug only option is supplied as x1 lug and x1 small screw, and pre-wired option is supplied as a 2ft length of wire pre soldered to a lug and x1 small screw.

Local pickup –If you are local and wish to collect any items or order in advance for collection on a specific day, then you can still place an order online and select local pickup at the checkout. Or drop me a message and I’ll reserve the items ready for your visit.
For online ordering and dispatch –In stock, non made to order items are processed and dispatched 4 days a week; Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday.
For orders that are placed on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday I have an order cut off time of 14:00GMT (with Royal Mail shipping services only) to allow me chance to process, pack and dispatch your order same day.
For non dispatch days (Saturday, Sunday, & Thursday) there is no order cut-off time, and these will be processed, packed and shipped on the closest following dispatch day.
