13.5mm length x 2.5mm thread diameter. 10mm thread length. Phillips oval head in a nickel finish – this screw is often referred to as a number 4 size and is the larger of the 2 most popular guitar pickguard / scratchplate screws, these ones being used most frequently on Fender-style guitars.

We sell them as a bag of 20 and this quantity is ideal for most Fender instruments. As an example, the majority of modern Stratocaster pickguards / scratchplates will require 11 of these screws to secure to the guitar body (earlier vintage examples require 8) and 6 are required to secure the plastic backplate over the tremolo cavity. Finally, 2 are needed to hold the recess jackplate in place on the front of the body, leaving 1 screw left over just in case you ever need a spare!
