Description

The 1978 Fender Telecaster Custom presents a solid-body built from natural-finished alder or ash, commonly featuring a high-gloss polyurethane coat that showcases the wood’s natural grain. The finish is a timeless “Natural” tone emblematic of late 1970s CBS-era Fenders. Its body carries the prominent elongated pickguard and the additional upper-bout three-way toggle switch typical of the Custom variant.

The neck is bolt-on, crafted from maple with either a maple or rosewood fretboard, measuring 21 frets along a traditional 25.5-inch scale.
